By updating your profile with your employer(s) Mental Health Professional Online Development (MHPOD) Learning Portal Employer Access Token, you are allowing the MHPOD Learning Portal (the Portal) to automatically send details of content you have commenced or completed on the Portal on a periodic basis to the employer assigned the Token which is highlighted on your screen.

This replaces the need for you to manually download a Certificate of Completion or Progress Report and send it to your employer(s). In addition to your list of completed/in-progress MHPOD modules, your first name, surname and email address as specified in your profile will also be provided to enable your employer to match your records.

The information in the Portal is held securely and is only accessible by the Department of Health and Human Services (‘the department’). Your employer(s) are unable to automatically access your information unless you update your profile with the Token or continue to manually supply the information.

You can choose not to update your profile with your employer(s) MHPOD Learning Portal Employer Access Token, but this will mean you will need to continue to manually download certificates when you complete each e-learning module.

If you do agree to update your profile in the Portal with an MHPOD Learning Portal Employer Access Token:

the department will use that information for the purpose of administering the Portal, and may use and disclose it where required by law; and the Portal will use that information in order to send automatic notices to your employer when you complete an e-learning module in the Portal.

If you change your mind later and wish to revoke one or more MHPOD Learning Portal Employer Access Tokens, you can do this yourself at any time through your profile.
